BQ79616: Board enters Shutdown State when Auto Addressing

We have developed our own board using the bq79616 and are currently testing using the BQ79600EVM and the BQAutoEval Software to communicate with it. When we perform a wakeup and then auto-address, everything works sometimes. However, on some of our boards, on the GUI, it says data loss detection has occurred and the stack devices disconnect and enter shutdown mode right as auto-addressing is performed. I can post screenshots if need be but was wondering if it was some common error. We have not experienced this error with the BQ79600EVM coupled with the BQ79616EVM module.
