UCD90160A: Configuring Rail 2 Startup Behavior in Fusion Digital Power Designer

Part Number: UCD90160A

Tool/software:

Hi,
I am using the UCD90160ARGCR as a power sequencer in my design and configuring it using Fusion Digital Power Designer. I have created 10 power rails with the required voltages and sequencing. However, I need help configuring the startup behavior of Rail 2 to meet the following requirements:

  1. Rail 2 should start at 3.3V (i.e., it should not begin at 0V when the system powers on).

  2. After Rail 1 powers on, Rail 2 needs to be pulled down to 0V and remain at 0V until Rails 3-10 have powered up.

  3. After Rails 3-10 are fully powered, I need to introduce a 40ms delay before restoring Rail 2 to 3.3V.

I attempted to achieve this using sequencing dependencies and GPIO control but faced challenges:

  • The "Enable at Startup" option for Rail 2 is not available in Fusion Digital Power Designer.

  • I am unsure of the best approach to pull Rail 2 to 0V after Rail 1 turns on and restore it after the delay.

Could you please advise on the best way to configure this behavior using Fusion Digital Power Designer?

Thank you for your support!
