Hi.

WebBench designer gave me this circuit.

In the WebBench designer, the simulation gave good result.

But I wanted to double-check it using TINA-TI.

I downloaded PSPICE model and converted it to TINA model and simulated this circuit. But it gives wrong value.

This is the TINA circuit.

Power +5V to -3.3V.TSC

Please help me sort out this issue.

Hello,

Have you tried using the model in PSPICE yet?

It may be something with the conversion to TINA.

You could also try the recommendation in Section 4.4.3.

Thank you for your reply.

With your advice, I learned the existance of PSPICE for TI and tried it. And it proved the design was good and valid, and there had been glitches in the process of importing PSPICE library into TINA-TI.

I think I'll be using PSPICE for TI a lot in the future.

Great to hear that it is working.

For some reason the document did not attach in the last post, but for future testing, you can try the recommendations in Section 4.4.3 of this application note: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/snva856b/snva856b.pdf?ts=1744152315137

The above recommendation is to be used with devices which do not have a dedicated inverted model.

Since this issues is resolved, I will keep the thread closed.

Thank you. i was actually thinking what "Section 4.4.3" you were talking about. So, I looked that the datasheet and Section 4 there was "Revision History". Haha...
