TPS23861: Application Issue with RJ45

Hi Team,

Customer use this device with a RJ45, DRAIN1 connect with 4578 of RJ45, he would like to know whether he can connect all 8 wires of RJ45 to improve the supply power(DRAIN pin source current). Do you have such experience? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Francis,

    Do you have a schematic or block diagram you can share for what is trying to be achieved here? Based on the description this seems to be a violation of IEEE specification and will not be compatible with other devices on the market.
