BQ25750: Inquiry Regarding INT Pin Behavior.

Part Number: BQ25750

Tool/software:

Dear TI Team,

We are currently using the BQ25750 in our project and have a few questions regarding the behavior and functionality of the INT pin.

According to the datasheet, the INT pin is used to alert the host to certain events or faults.

Could you kindly help confirm the following:

  1. Can all events that trigger the INT pin also be monitored via I²C registers?

  2. Are there any events or fault conditions that are only detectable through the INT pin and not accessible via I²C?

This information will help us determine whether the INT pin is strictly necessary in our design.
We appreciate your guidance and support!

Best regards,
