Hi,
I found, by chance, that the device (TPS1HB08AQPWPRQ1) does not become a FAULT state even if the current exceeds the ILIM, when EN is Low.
The scenario is as below.
1) EN is set HIGH to enable TPS1HB08AQPWPRQ1 output.
2) The FET in TPS1HB08AQPWPRQ1 becomes ON and the current going through TPS1HB08AQPWPRQ1 starts increasing.
3) EN is set LOW while the current is increasing for an urgent shutdown.
4) Current keeps increasing for a while (some micro seconds) after EN got LOW, and exceeds ILIM (42A).
5) Here, we confirmed that TPS1HB08AQPWPRQ1 does no enter FAULT state.
I guess that TPS1HB08AQPWPRQ1 enters the FAULT state if "EN=HIGH" and "Current > ILIM".
Could you confirm this?
