Hi TI team,
I am working with a smart battery using the BQ40Z50-R5 robot The chip has entered a Permanent Failure (PF) state, and I need to clear the PF flag in order to re-enable the FETs.
Currently, I am using a CP2112 interface and bqStudio to communicate with the chip. I have successfully connected, and I can read all data. However, I am unable to clear the Permanent Failure condition.
Could you please guide me on the exact procedure or command to send to clear the PF flag using CP2112?
Details:
- Communication: CP2112 + bqStudio
- Firmware version: R5 (bq40z50R5_5_05)
- Status: PF is set, FETs are disabled
- Access: I can unseal the chip
