UCC28070: Reviewing development of a 14kw charger

Hi Team,

We are looking to develop a 14kw battery charger for an ESS application with the following specifications:

Charging voltage: 67.2V
Charging Current: 200A.

I wanted to know what would be the best topology and related IC's that i can use from TI's portfolio to achieve this.
Are there any reference designs available for this?

    Hi Noel,

    At this power level, you picked the right PFC as this can be synchronized and paralleled. After the PFC, the 2nd stage would be the UCC28950 phase-sifted full-bridge. These too can be paralleled to support very high power. 

    Unfortunately, we do not have any reference designs at this power level. We do have this application note showing how to synchronize 3 or more UCC28950's.
