BQ27220: Configuration and Calibration Guidance for Custom Board

Congratulation on making this far on your board, in terms of a step by step process on how to setup the board I would recommend looking into the EVM, Learning cycle document, GPCCHEM tool and the product page linked below. In terms of a high level view of the work flow it goes Parameter setup >> Calibration in the calibration tab >> GPCCHEM Tool report >> Learning cycle >> Obtain Golden image .srec.

Thanks for the support! After enabling the full access command, I was able to write to the data memory successfully. However, I’m still facing one issue — even after updating the Full Charge Capacity and Design Capacity in the data memory, the changes are not reflected in the Full Charge Capacity register. Could you help me understand what might be causing this?

Also, is it possible to write the entire data memory from the SoC? Does TI’s driver provide support for that?

It appears that you haven't performed a learning cycle on your battery gauge, please reference the document below for this step. Another thing to note that it is critical to have the right chemID to perform a successful learning cycle. For the selection of your chemID please use the GPCCHEM tool for this step.

Is it possible to write to the data memory from the SoC without using BQStudio? Does TI provide any driver support for this functionality?
