My customer are using TPS389006004 for their project. currently they are using the default threshold for HF/LF 2 UV and OV, default for UV is 0.75V, OV is 0.85V. They asked can set the UV threshold as 0.718V,  OV threshold as 0.882V, and also extend the debounce time from 25.6us to 100us?

    It is possible to edit the UV and OV thresholds over I2C during operation of the device, but note that the device does not have NVM and will revert back to its default OTP configuration during power down. 

    When in the on 1x scale range (0.2 to 1.475 V) the possible step size is 5mV meaning that the closest thresholds to the desired are UV:0.715 (data: 0x67h) and OV: 0.880V (data: 0x88h). The user can set the thresholds by writing the the corresponding register in bank one.

    Could you please confirm the side effect to SOC that set the UV threshold as 0.718V,  OV threshold as 0.882V, and also extend the debounce time from 25.6us to 100us?

    The recommended operating voltage for this rail is 0.76V-0.84V.

       

    Could you please also help to confirm about this?

    Default thresholds of the device was defined by the SOC manufacture.

    This SOC is also from TI. The detail type is TDA4VE88T5AALZRQ1.

    J784S4 EVM Leo + 2x High-Current Pwr Stages(HCPS) PDN-3F is take as a reference.

    HF/LF 2 is used to monitor the VDD_CORE_0V8 of TDA4VE88T5AALZRQ1.

    Do you know the proper/ default threshold of this?

    The recommended thresholds would come from the SoC team. The TPS389006004RTERQ1 device is the reference design attach to the TDA4 and as mentioned the threshold OV/UV is 0.85V/0.75V.
