LM20125: Simulation model PGOOD function is not working

Why did you choose this old device?  Do you need an automotive device?

The TPS62816-Q1 is a newer, better automotive device for 6A.

No we don't need automotive device. our application is industrial drive. Package of TPS62816-Q1 is too small for us. you can suggest in HTSSOP or similar package if any other IC available.

Do you need a package with leads or just a larger package (for thermals, etc.)?

How much output current do you need?

We have the 6A TPS62A06 in a (leaded) SOT-563 package.  Or the 4A TPS628304 in a (leaded) SOT-583 package. The 5A LMZ10505 power module comes in a huge, leaded package as well.

We required leaded package with enable pin, power good pin & selectable soft start time. Actual current is maximum 3 amp but selecting slightly higher due to transient current possibility. It is supplying FPGA. We are using it for 3.3V and 1.2V outputs. TPS62A06 seems good option. but it has no soft start functions.

Thanks for taking a look at those.  For 3A, would the TPS628513 work?

If you want more current, would TPS54610 work?

TPS54610 is good option than LM20125, any reason behind it?  We have selected LM20125 as in LM series many IC available in different current.  

The TPS54610 has been updated to be manufactured in a newer fab site on 300mm wafers, so it has longer and more supply capability.

Ok. We will check the feasibility. What will be the approx. EOL of LM20125 & TPS54610.  

We don't forecast EOL dates.
