Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ40Z50
Tool/software:
Hi TI team,
I’m working on a project using the bq41Z90 and need clarification regarding its LED functionality.
In the TRM, I noticed references to LED1 through LED5 being used to indicate RSOC, similar to how the bq40Z50 operates. However, in the datasheet, the bq41Z90 only has four LED pins (LED1–LED4), and it’s unclear whether these are intended for RSOC display purposes.
For my application, I need five LEDs to represent RSOC in increments (e.g., 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%). Could you please confirm whether the bq41Z90 can support this natively or if additional circuitry or logic would be required to implement a 5-LED RSOC display?
Any guidance or clarification would be appreciated. Thank you!
Best regards,
