Is this because it affects the timing of the Vs pin

    Hello,

     

    The snubber on the switch node or across the output rectifier if done correctly should not affect the VS pin.

     

    The UCC28910 looks for a zero-voltage transition after the FET is turned off to determine the peak current and frequency the converter is operating at.  If 5*RC snubber time constant is less than 2% of the max frequency period this should be no affect.
