TPS2H160-Q1: Whether VS pin is common for Out1 and 2

Part Number: TPS2H160-Q1

Tool/software:

I am currently designing a circuit that incorporates the TPS2H160BQPWPRQ dual-channel smart high-side switch.

I have reviewed the datasheet but require clarification on the configuration of the VS pin.

Specifically, I would like to confirm whether the VS pin is common for both OUT1 and OUT2 channels.

When I performed the simulation, obtained the below mentioned results.

  • Simulation 1: When you provided separate diodes for each VS and shorted OUT1 to 24V, there was no impact on OUT2 or the VS input. This is expected as the diodes isolate the channels.

Simulation 2: When you provided a common source for VS and shorted OUT1 to 24V, it impacted OUT2 and the VS input.

This is the background of my question.

In the datasheet, there is no indication whether the VS pin is separate for Out1 and Out2. Could you please clarify this point?
