Hello!

I am incorporating BQ298009 in my design to give under voltage protection to the battery packs. I came across a roadblock when following the application schematic. 

U1 in the BOM is the POWER MOSFET DUAL N CHANNEL. The only issue with this part number is that it is going obsolete. Can someone from TI please refer me a replacement part number that will be good enough? Thank you!

    Hello Pushpendra,

    There are other MOSFETs that will work just fine with the device as long as they have similar parameters. You may be able to find a newer generation of that MOSFET by searching for the same parameters. (EFC2K102ANUZ may work if you are fine with the parameters)

    You may need to change the gate resistor to provide an appropriate rise and fall switching time once a different MOSFET is selected.
