I am connecting TLC69668QPWPRQ1 via I2C to Raspberry PI. I am programming under Python

I need Python example to control the dimming on one port.

Also, how to enable half of the outputs while the other half is in off state.

Hi Ramin,

Firstly the interface is not I2C. It's continuous clock serial interface. You may refer to datasheet for the detailed description.

Then what's your application of TLC69668-Q1?

How many LEDs do you want to control? Do you use time-multiplexing structure?

They are eight LED's on each string,

Mfr. #:MP-3030-120K-27-90

LCD back lighting.

Screen size : 7", 13", 17", 20"

depending on the screen size, the LED back lights are enabled. Also, a light sensor adjust ambient controls the dimming levels.

HI Ramin,

Did you request access to the Mysecure page of TLC69668-Q1 to see the whole datasheet?

It requires TLC696x0-Q1 as a scan mos controller and 8 external MOSFETs.

Also, sample code and user's guide are on the same Mysecure page for your reference.
