TPS536C7: Looking for Buck controller IC/IC's required for 0.82V@60A,0.82V@25A,0.82V@30A designs

Part Number: TPS536C7

Tool/software:

Hi,
In our new design, we are planning a power stage which has below requirements.
Vin 12V+/- 8%
All vouts tol:- ±2.5%
Vout1 - 0.82V@60A (Core), tol:- ±2.5%
Vout2 - 0.82V@25A (IO1)
Vout3 - 0.82V @ 30A (IO2)
Vout1 has SR of 2A/uS, and single transient of 25A/1ms when chip comes out of RESET (not required to be in ±2.5%)
Vout2,3 are not much stringent.
Digital power measurements by IC is good to have,
I2C configuration is good to have.

Can you suggest Buck controller solution on this.
  • Hi Koppa,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Looking at your requirements, since you have 3 rails, you will need 2 controllers because we have only 2 channel devices. You can use 1 controller for Vout 2 and Vout 3 and 1 controller for the Vout 1.

Since the currents are not much, so you wont need many phases.

I think TPS53647 would work well and it seems like it would be a great fit for your application when it's paired with one of TI's Smart Powerstages

Let me know if you have further questions.

    Thanks & regards,

    Abhishek
