Hi Team,

Based on the other E2E thread Here, bq41z50 will only support SMBus like specified in the datasheet.

As I know bq40z50 also just specified that it can only use for SMBus in the datasheet, but there is a way to support I2C for bq40z50 in this E2E thread.

May i know if bq41z50 can also use the same way as bq40z50 to follow this E2E thread to support I2C?

Hello HY,

Although there is a document for "SMBus Compatibility With an I 2 C Device" it hasn't been tested on a gauge application nor BQ41z50 and BQ40z50 is support with this process.
