TPS65982: Recommend external flash size is minimum 1MB

Tool/software:

Since low region binary file generated from Current GUI version(v3_11) is never beyond 64kB, why does the capacity of the external flash need to be much larger than 64KB(>1MB)?

Hi Leon,

You can refer to the data sheet section TPS65982 external Flash

If flash is not shared it must be 256kB minimum and if shared it must be minimum 1MB for saving 2 copies of application.

Here is why we need 2 copies
