To whomsoever it may concern,
With regard to the above mentioned part number (TPS54202), I am seeing a beep(short) on the DMM when i probe at the SW node pin of the IC. Is this a sign that my IC has gone bad or is it something else?.

Hi Shreyas,
Can you please share more details? Short: SW pin wrt GND? Is the buck functional or is yielding no output?
Regards,
Gautam
Shreyas, just a quick check. I guess, replacing the chip would've resolved your issue?
Hi Gautam,
I have not replaced the IC yet, though on removing it all the short conditions disappeared. Which makes me guess that it is an IC issue and that on populating a new one, the board will function as normal.
