UCC21550: UCC21550 Full Bridge LLC İsolated Gate Driver Research

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a 5kW full-bridge LLC resonant converter design. I’m currently looking into the UCC21550. I’ll be using SiC MOSFETs for the full-bridge configuration, and I want to drive them with isolated gate drivers. My chosen switching frequency is 250 kHz.

Given these parameters:

• Topology: Full-Bridge LLC

• Input voltage range: 250VDC – 550VDC

• Output power: 5kW

• Switching frequency: 250 kHz

• Switches: SiC MOSFETs

• Requirement: Isolated gate drivers

I'm looking for recommendations for gate driver ICs that are well-suited for this application. Preferably something that ensures robust isolation, fast switching capability, and minimal propagation delay, considering the high frequency and fast switching of SiC devices.

Any suggestions or experiences with specific drivers would be much appreciated!
