Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM2732
Tool/software:
Hi All,
It is assumed that the AM2732 is used on its own, without IWR.
In this case, should the recommended PMIC be LP87751A1?
I don't understand what "y = platform" means.
Best Regards,
Ito

Hi,
What do you mean by "y= platform"? .
Yes LP87751A1 can be used. See design user guide ; https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sprad61 .

you need to keep L6 and C37 connected in the design as shown in the schematic and in the boot after power up , you can disable the 1.0 V rail via Software application.
Also every time the boot is called you need to disable the 1.0V because this is OTP based device and by default the BUCK2 is enabled and every time the device goes to SAFE state and comes back to INIT state , the PMIC would reload the default settings. That's why it is important that whenever there is reset of the PMIC or it goes to SAFE state due to orderly shutdown or immediate shutdown then software application has to disable the 1.0 V every time.
