TPS552872-Q1: Inquiry Regarding

Part Number: TPS552872-Q1

Tool/software:

I hope this message finds you well.

I’m working on the TPS552872QWRYQRQ1, and I have a few questions regarding some component recommendations in the datasheet.

In the datasheet, a 100kΩ resistor is recommended for the RF_UP pin. Would there be any issue if I use a 13kΩ resistor instead?

I am considering leaving the EXTVCC and CC pins floating. From what I understand, this should not cause any issues—could you please confirm?

Regarding the CDC pin, I am unsure whether it can be left floating or if it must be connected with a resistor (See image). Could you clarify this point?

Thank you in advance for your support

  • Hi,

  • Hi Manuel,

    Thank you for reaching out.

In the datasheet, a 100kΩ resistor is recommended for the RF_UP pin. Would there be any issue if I use a 13kΩ resistor instead?

No issue. Vout_CDC will change because it is proportional to upper resistor.

I am considering leaving the EXTVCC and CC pins floating. From what I understand, this should not cause any issues—could you please confirm?

    Yes, there is no issue.

Regarding the CDC pin, I am unsure whether it can be left floating or if it must be connected with a resistor (See image). Could you clarify this point?

If you don't need this function, you can left it floating.

    Regards,
