I am considering the following configuration to transmit video using eDP, is this configuration feasible?

Any other device recommendations?
Are there any recommended devices or configurations for DP to LVDS or even the USB-PD part?

    Hi Ryu-san,

    Yes, the TUSB1146 and the TUSB1064 should be usable for this configuration. I don't see any issues with it.

    As for a DP to LVDS converter and a PD controller, we unfortunately don't have anything we can recommend for those.

    Why is there no PD controller that you can recommend?
    Can't I use a TPS26750, for example?

    Hi Ryu,

    For this application, you need a PD controller that can support DP alt mode. Currently, our only PD controller that supports DP alt mode is the TPS25763-Q1, an automotive-graded part.

    If you wanted to, you could use this device. The main reason I didn't bring it up is because I was not sure it would be a good fit for your application, depending on if it is an automotive application or not.
