TPS7A14: When will the TPS7A1405DRVR be released?

Hi team,

The TPS7A14 series is listed in the datasheet as having fixed output options ranging from 0.5V to 2.0V in 25mV increments, but the 0.5V output option has not been released yet.

When will the TPS7A1405DRVR be released?

    The 0.5V of TPS7A14 is not planned for release as of right now. However, I could help you find an alternative that might be a good fit here. What are the system requirements here? What is the input voltage?

    Thank you for your reply.

    Specifications:

    • Input Voltage: Preferably 1V input
    • Output Voltage: 0.5V
    • Output Current: Max 1A
    • Current Product in Use: NCP139AFCTC05 (On Semi)
    • Other Required Features:
      • General protection features (OCP, OVP, etc.)
      • Enable pin if possible
      • Sense pin (FB pin) if possible
      • Ceramic capacitors for output capacitors
      • Strong resistance to load fluctuations

    Currently, we are proposing TPS7A7001, but if there are other low-cost products that meet the specifications, please let us know.

    Additionally, when we proposed the TPS7A7001, the customer pointed out that there is a new version on the HP website and expressed concern about whether the TPS7A7001 will become EOL (End of Life). Please confirm this point as well.

    Hello Kyohei,

    Currently TPS7A7001 seems to be the closest alternative for a 0.5V output, with a slightly higher input voltage minimum. There are no plans for EOL on this device.
