LM5148: Malfunction when trying to synchronize it by and external clock.

Part Number: LM5148

Tool/software:

Hi all,

I'm having issues with this DC/DC module when I try to synchronize it to and external clock signal. I show you below my original schematics:

By doing this, I never get the target voltage output. MOSFETs sometimes are OFF, and sometimes are switching, but they never get to source 7.6 V (just like 2 or 3V, something random). It is like they'd work for 5s, then they turn off, and so on.

But, when I remove U27 and place R114 = 41.2 kOhms (for setting the primary controller mode), the DC/DC works perfectly. It sources 7.6V and the required current.

What is wrong with this SYNC signal?

I added this AND gate for being able of turning off the DC/DC with a simple GPIO, independently from the SYNC signal.

Kind regards,

Roberto.
