Hello team,

We are using battery gauge IC part- BQ34210IPWRQ1 in our design with BQ24105IRHLRQ1 battery charger to charge a Lithium polymer battery having rating 1000mAh rechargeable battery for automotive application, so can we go with fuel gauge ic?

when we used same Fuel Guage in previous design we faced some calibration issue, can you please support on this?

Hello Amit,

You should use this fuel gauge ic and shouldn't have any issues with it in this application, and we can support this product. I would heavily recommend looking into the TRM for firmware help, datasheet for hardware help and EVM for upbringings help.

. We are using this fuel gauge ic with S32K3 MCU.

Previously when used we were not able to set full charge capacity in BQ34210-q1 using I2C interface with MCU.

Also, can you please share sample configuration code with MCU?

Hello Amit,

We typically heavily recommend users to use BQstudio's when configurating the battery gauge due to the documentation and ease to use the product but I've attached documentation that can help with mcu configuration.
