Tool/software:

I am using a push-pull converter with the UC2825 PWM controller, but I currently don’t have any input protection or surge protection in place. Instead, I plan to implement an overvoltage and undervoltage protection circuit using the TL431. This circuit functions so that when the input voltage exceeds 36V or falls below 16V, the TL431 output goes high, effectively pulling the RT pin to ground to disable switching. Would you like me to help refine this further

Hi,

I think you should pull down Soft Start to disable the PWM, instead of pulling down RT.

Thanks for your reply.

We tried the simulation with UC1845 Which is from the same family. We tried pulling down SS pin. But The output voltage is bit high compared when the RT is pulled down.
