BQ25618: BQ25618 T2/T3 setting change

Part Number: BQ25618

Tool/software:

Hi Team

My customer side want to set T5 as 50 degree but datasheet condition is T5 = 60.

do it have any requirement to change to ratio of T2/T3? because the resistor divider ratio is different. is T2/T3 setting still accurate?

  • Hi Brian,

The key here is the ratio with respect to REGN matters. Whatever temperature results in a resistance that corresponds to the ratio is the setting temperature. However, as shown by the equations, only two temperatures can be used to set the resistor divider. The part itself cannot measure temperature. It only measures the voltage on the TS pin.
