UCC28C52: Transformer WEBENCH design

Part Number: UCC28C52

Tool/software:

I'm working with a WEBENCH-generated design for a flyback power supply, with the following specifications:

Input:   AC 85 V - 265 V at 60.0 Hz
Output:  Isolated 24 V at 2.5 A
WEBENCH specifies a TDK core and a TDK bobbin, and gives detailed inormation on windings, which is very helpful, but I'd rather find an off-the-shelf transformer so we don't have to wind it here.  If there's nothing off the shelf, I'd love to get a recommendation for a supplier who could make us a few prototypes quickly, and then supply large quantities if the prototype is succesful.
Any help would be appreciated.
  • Hi,

You need to find off the shelf on your own by talking to transformer vendors on the specs Webench provided. Or you can search web to find. On your specs, it does not seem there will be off the shelf transformers available based on our supporting experience. Usually we send our request to a transformer vendor to get their help to build transformer for us. We often use Coilcraft, Wurth, and some local vendors.
