TPS6521905-Q1: Socket programmer not programming NVM memory

Part Number: TPS6521905-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65219EVM-SKT, TPS6521905

Tool/software:

Hi,

I am using the TPS65219EVM-SKT to configure and program a TPS6521905 part to my requirements. I have 5v going into the EXTPWR input of the board, and I am using the online GUI to setup the configuration. I am able to read and write the registers to the PMIC, and store and load these to an external file. Once I have written all the setups to the registers, there is no change in any of the outputs of the PMIC. I can also perform the NVM memory write with my configuration, and compare them correctly in the NVM Verification section of the GUI. (The hardware connected symbol shows that it is talking to the device on the EVM board.) Again there is no voltage on any of the outputs. However, after I have turned the power off to the EVM board, and powered it back up again, all the registers are zero, and the NVM memory write has clearly failed. Any suggestions as to why the programming sequence is failing for me will be gratefully received. Many thanks.
