Dear Team,
our customer is using the power module TPS82084 for 6V Vin step down rail.
however due to some defects of the PCB silk ink, their factory production line may have the upside down installation of the IC, causing the:
- Vout and FB pins connected to 6V node,
- EN and PG pin connected to gnd node
I originally think this should not damage the IC due to the voltage doesn't exceed the maximum rate 7V.
however the 7V value is respect to the nominal gnd network in the nominal installation case.
May I double check with BU site whether this will cause the damage TPS82084?
