Are there any conditions for becoming CCM and DCM?

Some products operate as CCM, and some operate as DCM.

I want to design it to work only with CCM, but I'm wondering if there are any conditions.

Please consider LM76005(-Q1) device. This device operates in FPWM mode by connecting MODE to VCC.

I already have TPS54561 in use. Is there a way to make it work only with CCM?

Hello Daehwan

Looks like there is no way. Please see Fig 40. Even if the external clock is applied, the TPS54561 device works in DCM at light load.
