Is there a component calculator/spreadsheet for the BQ25751 that includes reverse mode operation?

I need to calculate the proper FETs and inductor for reverse mode, which is different than charging mode requirements.

Christian,

Assume charging from 24V into two stacked sealed Pb-Acid batteries at 3-5A charge rate.

Reverse boost mode from the same batteries (20V to 28V) to 30V at 3-5A.

Is there a calculator tool available for this?

Have you look at the the design calculator tool for BQ25756, this can also be used for BQ25751:www.ti.com/.../

it includes a section to compare Ti recommend part vs. customer selected parts.

Hello Shawn,

Unfortunately, TI does not currently provide a dedicated component calculator tool specifically for reverse mode operation. However, the existing BQ2575X tool can still provide a general guidance when selecting suitable MOSFETS.

OK. Thank you. Since we have the capability in the part, we should consider adding that into either Webench, the calculator, or both.
