LMR51430: VOUT short to VIN

Hi team,

my customer wants to find a buck with Vin:24V, Vo:5V  and the peak output current is 3A. The load is the encoder part whose maximum Vin is 5.5V which means if the Vout exceeds 5V , the encoder would be broken.Customer is afraid that when Vout short to Vin, LMR51430 or other buck chips wouldn't have the mechanism to prevent Vout exceeding 5.5V. Do u have any advice? thanks!
