LM5066I: Retry count of fault timer

I have a question regarding the fault timer of LM5066I. LM5066I can cahnge the number of retry count from 0 to infinte. What is the infinite? How fo we understand the operation of the retry count of infinite?

Thanks for reaching out. Infinite means the device will keep on retrying until input power is present.

Thank you for the reply. I clearly understood the operation of infinite retry during overcurrrent condition!

Is LM5066I possible to read or write registers by I2C? It seems PMBus is only allowed to access the registers.
