TPS1685: How auto retry of overcurrent protection works during overcurrent condition

Hi team,

I don't clearly understand the overcurrent protection. There are two variants which are auto retry and latch off. But I don't know how auto retry works during overcurrent condition. Could you please kindly help me to understand how it works?

Hi Shunsuke,

Device will retry indefinitely after fixed time of around 600ms.

Hi Shunsuke,

Indefinite retry will only happen if overload is always there because everytime device will start,it will turn off due to overcurrent and then again retry.

If overload is removed then device will turn on succesfully.
