Hi,

I am using the IC for the development of a battery charger. But I can't find its CAD symbol, footprint or 3D model.

I need these files to include the IC in Altium, how could I get it?

    Hi Fernando,

    I checked our website page for the product under the section, "Design & development -> CAD symbols, footprints, and 3D models." After clicking the link to Ultra Librarian, I see that the "EDA model is not yet available for this part." I do not think that the CAD symbol, footprint, or 3D model is available at this time. I will work on updating this and let you know as soon as it is updated.

    In the meantime, the BQ25856-Q1 that precedes the BQ25858-Q1 uses the same package. The pinout is slightly different between the parts due to the different functionality, but if you follow the datasheet for the BQ25858-Q1, you can use the model for the BQ25856-Q1 for your Altium design.
