Hi Alexis,

Following up on my last post — regarding the first question: on the EVM circuit board, the Precharge function is disabled by default. I followed the instructions and configured the DCHG/DDSG pins to 0xB2, but the function still isn’t working.

Could you please advise further?

  • Hi TI team,

Do you have any further suggestions?

I measured the TP33 (PACK pin), and when a charger is plugged in, it does receive a high voltage jump. Could you please clarify: if the CHG FET is set to OFF during sleep mode and the precharge function is disabled, why does the BQ76952 not turn on the CHG FET when a charger is connected during sleep mode?

    Looking forward to your advice.

    Best regards,

    Joy

  • Hi TI team,

After configuring the Sleep Charger Voltage Threshold to an appropriate value, it is working now.
