Hello,

I am unable to locate the "Learning Cycle" button in BQStudio when using the BQ27Z561-R2 IC.
Is there a way to enable or activate it?

I have already identified the correct ChemID and would like to perform the learning cycle prior to creating the golden image for production use.

Hello Kfir,

Please reference the document and video below to began the learning cycle, there is no button for learning cycle rather you send commands to began the process.

With previous components, I Had a dedicated button to a fully automated process where charging and discharging were controlled via two dedicated I/O lines, allowing complete automation without manual intervention.

With the solution you proposed, the discharge process requires manual supervision to avoid over-discharging the cell, which introduces risk of over charge in unattended operation.

Hello Kfir,

You can manually supervise over the discharge and charging cycle of the cell and manual change the load and power supply during the cycle however there is some leeway for the learning cycle. Another common practice that most customers do to minimize human intervention is create a script that automates the charge/discharge/rest cycles so that you don't have to manually change the cycles for it.
