TPS62918: Webench Power Designer shows wrong TPS62918 ripple

Part Number: TPS62918

Tool/software:

the data sheet says "Low output voltage ripple < 10μVRMS after ferrite bead"

but the WEBENCH^® POWER DESIGNER gives a completely different number.

for a typical design, without the second stage filter, the ripple is 1 mV and with the filter it is 697 micro Volts

not the <10 uV

Hello,

The <10 uVRMS spec is related to FFT spectrum ripple. This is not a feature of webench and requires a signal analyzer to measure. Here is the data for this spec measured on the EVM. For time-domain ripple, the webench measurements you shared match our evm data
