We have to design a hot swap to protect the power stage

spec is 24 /1A, follow the excel.

power on & no load , and growth the output current, the ic function is ok

but, fullload & power on, the ic protected, did you have any advise?

LM5069 may work. But TPS1641 is the cost competitive, integrated solution with high power density. Hence, it is recommended to use TPS1641.

Due to Previous project which use the LM5069 in 10A design

we hope use the same device in the new project

we also use the excel to did the simulation. but fail

if we need a spec is 24V/1A, OCP in 1A, May i know how to set it?

I am not able to understand this statement.

Please fill out the design calculator. https://www.ti.com/tool/download/LM5069QUICK-CALC

You can use the appropriate value of current sense resistance to set the current limit threshold is 1A.

For a 10A design, we did not have an integrated solution earlier. Hence, LM5069 was promoted/used. TI has integrated solution for 1A current limit. Therefore, TI will recommend to use TPS1641 in this case.
