TPS7A33: Design Review

Hi,

We are using TPS7A33 for generating  - 5V.Input voltage is -5V. 

Output current requirement is 1 A .

Kindly review the attached schematic and provide the feedbacks.

    Hi Ashish,

    Input voltage (5V0_N) needs to be <5.8V to guarantee you aren't in dropout at your current requirement. As it stands -5Vin is guaranteed to be in dropout and will not regulate properly. 

    Other than that, both TPS7A33's look properly configured for -5V Vout and all capacitors are properly sized.

    I'd also note a similar Vin>5.4 requirement for the TPS7A400's
