i would like to use power protection switch - TPS259470ARPWR inside my design. i have three of those items on board.
i don't need to use pin 3 named AUXOFF, it is listed as open drain output pin, hence didn't connected any pull up to it, it is left unconnected.
do i have a problem with the functionality of the IC? or no problem at all.
at page 36 it is listed as an output indicator, so i don't see any problem, but TI also wrote at page 37 this pin must be pulled up, maybe it meant only if we use it to drive other IC's, i would like to be sure.
please clarify on that.
