TPS25751EVM: Error Flashing to Device

Hi,

I’ve just started evaluating the TPS25751EVM board, but unfortunately, I’m unable to flash my configuration to the device.

Every time I attempt to flash, the progress bar reaches 10% before the following error message appears.

I’ve seen similar issues reported on the forum, where the device was detected as a “Microsoft” device instead of a “TI device”, and the flashing process failed accordingly

I have already tried the suggested solutions from those threads, including:

Using a different PC (Windows 10 instead of Windows 11)
Trying multiple browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox)
Swapping USB cables
None of these attempts improved the situation.
Updated driver

Unfortunately, I only have one EVM, so I can’t verify whether the issue is specific to this board.

If you're familiar with this issue or have any suggestions, I’d greatly appreciate your support.

Hello,

Can you display the console when you attempt to program?

F12, clear the console (see icon below), attempt to program.

Like this, I connect J4 directly to my PC and J2 to a 20V USB-C Power Supply (I tried 2 different Power Supplies, no difference)

If it helps, VSYS is 20V.

No. Your configuration is correct.

We have seen other instances where the GUI incorrectly reports a failure even though the EEPROM has been updated. Can you put a unique value into the customer use register and attempt to program?

After 'unsuccessful' program, use the flash to device from binary file to read the contents.
