Hi,
I'm looking for a USB PD 3.1 controller that supports the Extended Power Range (EPR) up to 240W, and also includes DisplayPort Alt Mode support for video output.

Most PD controllers I’ve found support USB PD 3.0 or are compatible with 24-pin Type-C connectors, but I specifically need one that is compliant with PD 3.1 (EPR) and supports video output over USB-C.

Could you please suggest a suitable controller for this application?

    I’m designing a 1-to-6 USB hub using 24-pin USB Type-C connectors for both the upstream and downstream ports. The hub will also include audio, Ethernet, DisplayPort, and HDMI outputs. The design is intended to accept 240W input (48V/5A) and distribute both power and data to the downstream ports, based on the block diagram from TI’s USB Type-C Mini Dock EVM.

    I’m looking for a USB PD 3.1 controller similar to the TPS65986, which can handle Extended Power Range (EPR) up to 240W and also supports DisplayPort Alt Mode via the DP_AUX pins.

    I came across the TPS26750, which supports PD 3.1 and 240W, but it lacks DP_AUX support, so it cannot manage DisplayPort functionality. I need a PD 3.1 controller that offers both EPR (240W) capability and DisplayPort Alt Mode, essentially acting like an enhanced version of the TPS65986 for PD 3.1 applications.

    Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
