TPS7A33: About EN and NC pins

I am an FAE at a distributor that handles TI products.
I have received some questions from my customer about the TPS7A33.
(Question 1)
If 2 to 10V or -2 to -12V is applied to the EN pin while no voltage is supplied to the IN pin, is there a possibility that the device will deteriorate or be damaged?
(Question 2)
The datasheet states the following about NC pins:
"This pin can be left open or tied to any voltage between GND and IN."
What is the best way to connect them?
Is it better to connect all NC pins to GND rather than leaving them open?

    Similar to my other answer,

    Question 1:

    It is beyond the recommended operating conditions but since it's below the abs. max rating you shouldn't expect deterioration or damage. Usually, I clarify that the datasheet values are only applicable to proper regulation within recommended operating conditions unless otherwise stated but if 0V is applied to the input, the undervoltage lockout circuit will disable the device regardless of EN state.

    Question 2:

    Typically, grounding the NC pins has a marginal improvement in thermal performance as it adds another possible thermal conduction path, so grounding them is slightly preferred. In this case it appears that we grounded them on the VQFN package because it makes for an easier, cleaner, and more thermally conductive layout when you feed the ground plane across them to connect the ground pad.
