TPS3704-Q1: Query Regarding configuration of threshold for the adjustable series

Hi Team,

I want to use TPS3704-Q1 for x2 voltage rails of 48V and 24V and I need OV and UV monitoring at 11%.

Can you kindly confirm if TPS37044LJOJDDFR can support this range?

If yes, how to configure the threshold % as it says it is adjustable but haven't mentioned how to configure it?

    Hi Zeel,

    The TPS37044LJOJDDFR is a 4 channel adjustable window supervisor with a +/- 5% window tolerance. 

    The closest released multichannel device that we have is TPS37044MJOFDDFRQ1 which is an adjustable window supervisor with +/- 7% window tolerance. Otherwise I would recommend using four TPS37A010122DYYRQ1 window supervisors. This is a single channel device with both overvoltage and undervoltage that can be set through external resistor dividers.

    From datasheet it seems that there are two different reset signals for OV and UV. My requirement is to have single reset for OV and UV for same voltage rail with +/- 11% detection.

    Can you help with this requirement, which part will be apt for the requirement?

    Hi Zeel,

    Yes the RESET for OV and UV are seperate, but the output topology is open drain meaning that these outputs can be OR'd together to meet your need.
