LP5815: LP5815 and LP5817 have the same address I2C, right or wrong ?

Hello,

The datasheet of LP5815 and LP5817 indicates the same I2C adress (=0x2D). It's seems to be wrong !!!
Because the 2 chips are fonctionnaly identical and normally have 2 differents address, right ?

Please can you clarify this point ?

    Hi Eric,

    No, the datasheet is correct. The two devices have the same I2C address.

    The LP5817 doesn't have the below functions as LP5815 has.

    1. Autonomous animation control
    2. Instant Blinking function
