Tool/software:

It seems that the LMG1210 spice model doesn'twork correctly.
The datasheet asks to connect HSPAD (pin21) to HS.
This is what we see on evaluation board schematics too.
However, an OrCAD simulation works only when HSPAD (pin21) is connected to LSPAD (pin 20) and both are connected to ground.
The question is :
Should the model work uncorrectly, shall I use HSPAD (pin21) connected to HS on the PCB, while I connect HSPAD (pin21) to LSPAD and GND in my simulation?
Are simulation results safe, in this case?
Shall TI publish a new different spice model to correct this?

Note the above holds for both the encrypted and the unencrypted models.

    Hello Attilio,

    The model has an issue where the HS pad pin is connected to ground internally in the model instead of HS like in the real device. There should not be an issue with the simulation results connecting HSPAD and LSPAD to GND in the simulation.

    Please connect HSPAD to HS on the PCB. HSPAD is connected to HS in the real device.
